This is such an honor. I would like to thank all of the little people I stepped on to get here where I am today...
Just kidding. . . maybe? lol!
Seriously. . . This next guest wrote one of my all time favorite novels in 2009. I am so thankful to have her join in my celebration...

Giving a warm and most welcome shout out to.....
Tracey O'Hara!!
How long have you been writing?
I started writing in 2004. I had been doing some family research and decided I would like to write it all down. I started to write a historical story and then I got the idea for Night’s Cold Kiss.
How thrilled were you when Night's Cold Kiss was released?
Actually, it was more surreal than anything else. Because I live in Australia it was still a couple of months before I actually see it on the shelves. But it was a culmination of the years of hard work and it was exciting to see it for sale.
What's one day in the life of Tracey O'Hara like?
Depends on the day. During the week I work full time as an Analyst Programmer. When I come home, I have dinner and then sit to do my other job. I answer emails first and then do some editing and writing. My husband is working at nights now – so I write until he is home or till about 2am then up for work again. Weekends, however, are different. I sleep a little later, work a little later and try to spend a little time with my poor husband.
Do you have a current project you’re working on or something you plan to begin soon?
I have finished the second Dark Brethren book Death’s Sweet Embrace and have started on the third with the current title of Sin’s Dark Caress.
In your opinion, what is the most difficult part of being a published author?
The most difficult is that I wasn’t nearly as prepared for being a published author as I thought I was. At the moment I have 2 full time jobs. I love being a writer, but I also in the lucky position of liking my day job as well. However there are times when I find it a little more difficult to juggle both than at others.
What’s the most rewarding?
Knowing there are people that are reading my little tale and enjoying.
If you could co-author a book with any of your fellow authors or anyone from anywhere, who would you choose and why?
WOW – difficult question. There are many authors I admire. Some I would never be able to hold a candle up to. Others I enjoy for what they write, but it’s so different to mine. To be honest – I am such a control freak, I am not sure I could co-author. If you asked me who I would most like for a mentor then at the top of that list would be Stephen King.
Describe your writing process.
It’s simple. I sit down, put my hands on the keyboard and write whatever comes out of them. :)
What is the most interesting place you’ve ever visited?
I have travelled lots within my own country. We have a lot of land to see. But I have made one trip overseas to San Francisco. I absolutely loved it. There was such a mix of sights and sounds and a week was nowhere near enough.
What can we expect to see from you in the near future?
Well Death’s Sweet Embrace will be out next winter followed by book three probably a year after that and then hopefully more Dark Brethren books.

Heather and Marianna - thanks for stopping by and commenting. Isn't it just the best cover - okay I know I am biased - but when I saw it for the first time - I got goosebumps and I cried. It is the opening scene of the book - and it was perfect.
BTW aliens, vampires and werewolves exist - even in ony in my mind :)
sorry - that was "if only in my head"

Ohhhh (clapping my hands) this looks like such a good book . . . can't wait to get my hands on it. Thanks for stopping by for Authorpalooza!!
I'm a follower, but not a twitter. :-)
Sadly, as much as I love to read a good paranormal, I really don't believe in vamps, werewolves or aliens. Ghosts, now that's a different story . . .
