Book Description:

He pledged his honor to keep her safe . . .

Returning home to Cornwall after an unspeakable tragedy, Sir Gideon Trevithick comes upon a defiant beauty in danger and vows to protect her whatever the cost. He's dismayed to discover that she's none other than Lady Charis Weston, England's wealthiest heiress—-and that the only way to save her from the violent stepbrothers determined to steal her fortune is to wed her himself! Now Gideon must hide the dark secrets of his life from the bride he desires more with every heartbeat.

She promised to show him how to love—and desire—again . . .

Charis has heard all about Gideon, the dangerously handsome hero with the mysterious past. She's grateful for his help but utterly unwilling to endure a marriage of convenience—especially to a man whose touch leaves her breathless. Desperate to drive him mad with passion, she would do anything to make Gideon lose control—and fall captive to irresistible, undeniable sin.

Book Review:

Charis is on the run from two of most despicable men she’s ever met. Unfortunately for Charis that those men are family who are out to get her no matter what the cost. They won’t stop at night until they have Charis back under their clutches. Charis just has to hide out for a few more weeks until her birthday than she can finally be free.

Sir Gideon Trevithick finds a beautiful young woman who’s seen better days. He makes a vow to protect ‘Ms. Watson’ no matter how much trouble she causes him. There’s just something about her that has him feeling uneasy yet Gideon secretly enjoys spending time with ‘Sarah’.

Charis/Sarah has fallen head over heels in love with her savior. Only time will tell if they can heal their souls and let someone in.

I sometimes enjoy reading the occasional historical romance titles because they rarely catch my fancy. Captive of Sin not only capture my attention, but also manage to keep 100% enthralled.

This has to be one of the best historical romances I have read so far. It had all drama, angst and just the right of amount of action to keep me thoroughly captivated from the very first page.

I couldn’t put it down. I became like a woman obsessed. However, I do have a warning for you all. You must have a box of tissues handy.

Anna Campbell has created such an amazing tale of two heartbroken souls. It was very heart wrenching seeing what both Charis and Gideon have gone through. It’s going to only someone special like Charis and Gideon to get through all the anguish and pain together.

I hope that you all forgive for getting so vocal about my new obsession on Captive of Sin. It’s just all that and a bag of chocolate. I just LOVE everything about Captive of Sin.  Sadly, as you can tell...I have issues, lol!

There’s just nothing better to me than reading all the angst the character goes through to be with each.

Will Charis survive the fallout once her stepbrothers find her?

Will Gideon finally open up and let Charis completely in?

Will Ms. Campbell give these characters their happy conclusion they most richly deserve?

To find out you just have to run out and get your own copy. You will not be disappointed.

I give Captive of Sin a rating of 5 Stars.

From the moment he first saw her, Julian knew he must possess her. And when he discovers her greatest secret, a scandal that could ruin her reputation and end her career, he knows just the way to use this damaging information to his most delightful advantage. He offers Olivia a deal with the devil: he'll keep her secret . . . if she allows him the chance to show her true ecstasy.

But Olivia must be careful, for Julian has a secret of his own: he will not rest until she is completely, shamelessly his.

By Suzanne Enoch

How to tell if a man is an unrepentant rogue:

1. He has no patience for frivolous debutantes
2. He kisses you after a single dance
3. He makes you forget yourself and kiss him back . . .

After years away from London, Captain Bennett Wolfe is back—and alive, much to Society's surprise. Having been presumed dead, this rugged adventurer is now much sought after by every marriage-minded young woman . . . but Bennett only has eyes for the intriguing Lady Phillipa Eddison.

Phillipa would rather read than flirt, but she does know a thing or two about proper courtship rituals. A gentleman does not kiss a lady senseless, and he certainly does not bring his pet monkey when he comes calling. Lady Phillipa's ever been so scandalized . . . or tempted. She simply must teach Bennett some manners—before she succumbs to temptation as wild as the man who offers it.
