About the novel:

The era of peace among the elves, men, and dwarves comes to an end when one of Londor’s twin moons disappears from the heavens. Without the moon’s balancing effect, evil forces grow bold, and warfare, sickness, and chaos threaten life itself.

Hearing the prayers of desperation that ride on the violent winds, the ancient wizard Randor Miithra, servant to the elf-gods, takes it upon himself to mend the world he has sworn to protect.

The task will not be an easy one, though, for the wizard, too, has begun to feel the effects of the world’s imbalance. As Randor struggles to maintain some semblance of his powers, he meets a secretive band of colorful characters from all walks of life, drawn together by a common goal: to find the stolen moon, whatever the cost. It does not take Randor and his motley company long to see that someone or something does not want the moon returned to the heavens.

The road is perilous…the stakes have never been greater…will they find victory…or will they only find their deaths?

Book Review

Let me first clarify that I just discovered fantasy novels are amazing to read. To be honest I am more of paranormal and urban fantasy kind of girl. However, after reading the book description, something drew me in. I knew immediately that I had to add this to my TBR list. Imagine my luck when the author contacted me for a possible review. I am so glad he took a chance on me even though I was not an avid fantasy fan. I hope this review will show the author that he was right to take a chance on me.  I am real nervous about this review and hope it makes sense and enjoyable read.

With that said . . . here is my review.

The time has come for all mankind, whether they are humans, elves, and dwarves to unite to save their world.

Not to sound cliché, but only by working together can they destroy their enemies and save the world.

While I read The Stolen Moon of Londor, I discovered just how creative Mr. Stephens… He got me hooked from the very beginning with the way the war has already begun and did not tease us by making us wait for the action and suspense scenes.

We get to know the main characters of Randor, Gildan, Seth and Lorn who get together for a mission… Which no one knows for sure if they will survive?

A.P. Stephens’ novel will be intriguing by giving readers what the want in fantasy world that is The White Saga.

I could just kick myself for now just reading Mr. Stephens novel until now.

This reviewer can try to compare this novel to other epic fantasy titles but I will not even bother. It may remind readers of other wonderful tales but that is where similarities end. A.P. Stephens spins his own take to his version of a fantasy saga. The Stolen Moon of Londor will have readers salivating for more.

The Stolen Moon of Londor will have the readers wonder if they stepped into another world with the full imagination and details in the novel. The storyline moves fast but you will miss nothing. Page after page I could not help myself from becoming excited about reading The Stolen Moon of Londor and seeing how book one ends.

I for one can only see great things for A.P. Stephens and he is the author to watch for in 2010!

I give 5 out 5 stars for The Stolen Moon of Londor
