About The Novel:

They call it Deadtown: the city’s quarantined section for its inhuman and undead residents. Most humans stay far from its borders — but Victory Vaughn, Boston’s only professional demon slayer, isn’t exactly human…

Vicky’s demanding job keeping the city safe from all manner of monsters is one reason her relationship with workaholic lawyer (and werewolf) Alexander Kane is in constant limbo. Throw in a foolhardy zombie apprentice, a mysterious demon-plagued client, and a suspicious research facility that’s taken an unwelcome interest in her family, and Vicky’s love life has as much of a pulse as Deadtown’s citizens.

But now Vicky’s got bigger things to worry about. The Hellion who murdered her father ten years ago has somehow broken through Boston’s magical protections. The Hellion is a ruthless force of destruction with a personal grudge against Vicky, and she’s the only one who can stop the demon before it destroys the city and everyone in it.

Book Review:

Dead Town is one seriously wicked ... "what the…”

Sorry for the interruption but I am taking over Veronica's Review and writing this one. For those who do not know I am Veronica's alter ego… You mortals are not worthy just yet to know my name.

Hell, My other half does not even know I exist. Let us just keep this between us for now.

So back to the review...

Hello Darlings…

You must be wondering why such the Goddess is writing a review. Well if you have not heard of Nancy Holzner, just wait my sweets you will… No one but yours truly can give Nancy Holzner's Dead Town the recognition and praise as I could. Oh, yeah…sorry Veronica.

In Dead Town we meet, the luscious Vicky Vaughn who is only reason for being alive today is the fact she is a shape shifter. In her city, the humans all died with them returning as zombies… She does not follow the rules but we will not hold that against her. For example, she has zombie teen apprentice and Vicky somehow always manages to let others know she is a shape shifter.

Vicky, darling... I would say be true to yourself but who am I kidding, I am completely hiding myself from Veronica. C'est la vie.

There is an evil from Vicky's past that has returned to finished what he started all those years ago...

Vicky is dealing with a kleptomaniac yet eager demon slayer, teen zombie apprentice who can drive a saint crazy, a lately very absent lover, Kane while trying to save the city and her loves from losing their lives. The Goddess doesn't like this absent lover business.. Kane should spend his nights worshipping the luscious Vicky.

I am not a fan of reading but Nancy Holzner changed my mind. She must have some magic powers in her to make The Goddess to sit down and read a book. I must investigate the author about her background… who knows, we might discover Nancy to be a Goddess in disguise.

That is all I have left to say mortals... Veronica is coming back and I must return.

However, fret not, my darlings... The Goddess shall return.

Oh, I forgot to add... Dead Town is granted 5 of the those silly Stars Strictly Reviews give out to the books.
